The project called European Youth for Understanding intends to establish a productive cooperation between two participating secondary schools in Belgium and the Czech Republic.
The primary aim of the project is to compare the lifestyle, cultural heritage, environment, political and educational systems of both countries. The gained knowledge will be used in editing a guidebook for youngsters travelling to these countries. It will contain a Czech-Flemish-English phrasebook which would cover basic topics, such as greetings and salutations, shopping, family, town and directions, services.
All the material (survey, questionnaires, quizes, reports, essays, presentations, pictures and photographs) will be stored on a diary on the school web portal and on a CD and presented to the wide public on an exhibition.
