when we were ruled by the Spanish King Philips II

King Boudewijn,he was the most popular king King Leopold I,he conquered Congo,it became a Belgian colony

We only had six kings till now, all from the Saksen-Coburgh dynasty

During the French occupation family names, laws, administration were registered

Queen Elisabeth,she was a nurse in the first World War Marie Popelin, first Belgian feminist Kim Clijsters,famous tennis player

Father Damian,he helped a lot of people who suffered from lepracy

Belgium was against the Germans but was occupied by the Germans

They(the Romans) already spoke of Brussels, then Bruoscella, in 706

We were one of the founders of the European Union (Luxembourg,France,The Netherlands)
